new retro-fit modifications to the 5EXi

DOORS.
Creative redesign of the 5EXi chassis using new tubular sections, has brought a reduction in weight as well as increasing rigidity – allowing Marlin to incorporate doors without compromising the performance of the structure
CHASSIS

In 2005 the 5EXi Mk2 chassis was launched to great acclaim. The new design provided a material weight saving - from the use of new tubular sections, and also allowed the fitment of doors. This new chassis will also retrofit ‘no door’ bodies, which is the most popular choice for those race.

ENGINES
Recently the awesome Honda ‘R’ and the Honda Twin Cam 1600 have been fitted successfully into the 5EXi. Please Note: For engine types not previously installed into any of our current cars, we operate a fitting service for our customers which In most cases is free of charge. This will require the customer to bring the engine and gearbox along to the factory.
MIRA

Marlin always innovative and determined to lead the way, sought the help of the UK’s top vehicle aerodynamics team at the MIRA wind tunnel vehicle research and testing facility during 2005.

Brakes.... Braking New Ground
